This course thematically investigates the fundamental and perennial questions of humankind and how human beings relate through culture to their political, religious, social, intellectual, economic, and geographic environment.
I thought learning about death was weird but very intriguing. It was helpful to think about death because then you really acknowledge the importance of your life and what you want to fulfill. The readings also gave me many more perspectives about death and how it might not actually be as bad as everyone says it is. The challenge I faced in writing this assignment was trying to connect and embed the previous readings to the Texas secession, mainly the religious unit. I think this paper reflects my mastery of the humanities course because I took into account the many variables involving this issue. I questioned my own views as well as others views on the subject. Lastly, I included one person's view from each of our units to show how dynamic this issue really is.
