This course is designed to discuss more in depth basic algebra concepts.
Reflective Writing
By doing this project I realized that math really does relate to everything in this world. It was really neat learning each step by its self, and then tying all the steps together to solve the solution of a real life problem. I thought this project was challenging, yet fun, and i would use this method again for finding other solutions for different problems.
This course is intended to prepare students for a comprehensive course in Calculus.
Reflective Writing
This project definitely changed my views on buying a house. I knew it was expensive, but not That expensive! Even if you have a good interest rate, you still end up paying an additional $100,000 or more by the time you've paid the house off. Not only are you buying just the house but in order to live comfortably in it, you have to pay for electricity, running water, and food. This project was a real eye opener for me, and living at home the rest of my life doesn't sound too bad after all. If I decided to buy a house in the future, I can see that even just putting an extra $100 in a month can save you thousands!
