Reflective Writing
From taking Social Dance i have increased my confidence in dancing. I attended a dance party where i got to dance the Waltz and Cha-Cha. I found it very different dancing outside my dance class because the tempo of the songs were faster, and not everyone knew how to ballroom dance. The dancing etiquette didn't change much because the boys were still polite when asking the girls to dance which pleased me. At both places i had a blast dancing and i plan on dancing throughout my whole life!
This class is a workout class that emphasizes the correct concepts of a cardio-respiratory workout, including target heart rate zones and perceived exertion. This course includes appraisals of student fitness levels. Emphasis is on lifelong wellness.
After recording what I had eaten for three days I realized how many
breads, cereals, pastas, and sweets I eat. I rarely had any vegetables
or meat for the first day. I need to drink a lot more water and that
explains why my hydration is only at 55 percent. Day one was a real
surprise for me so I tried harder on day two to eat better. I made sure I
had some meat, fruit, and vegetables since that was what I was
lacking. I liked writing everything down because it kept me from eating
small candies because I didn't want to have to write it down. Writing
it down also gave me an idea of what else my body needed such as; meat,
legumes, fruit, vegetables, or water. I learned a lot about my eating
habits and now know what I need to improve on eating more or less of.
